HavenSomeone to talk to, right now
Private counseling for teens from licensed North Carolina counselors. A parent sets it up. A big SOS button is always free.

Early prototype in development. Planned for North Carolina first, on iPhone and Android.
Haven is not an emergency service. Call 911 in an emergency, or call or text 988 for crisis support.

How it works
Set up in minutes. Help in one tap.
A parent creates the account and signs consent. The teen links their own device with a short code and can reach a counselor without a password.
1A parent sets up Haven
Create the account, choose a plan, add your teen, and sign a written consent. You get a link code.
2The teen links their device
Your teen types the code into Haven on their own phone or tablet. No email, no password.
3Talk to a counselor
Talk any time, schedule a session, or tap SOS. Parents see only that a session happened, when, and how long.
SOS, always free
One tap reaches every counselor on duty.
When a teen taps SOS, every on-duty counselor is alerted at once. The first to accept takes the call, so two counselors never answer the same teen. If nobody can answer, Haven points the teen straight to 988 and 911.
- Free for every teen, with or without a paid plan
- First counselor to accept takes the call; others see it was taken
- After 45 seconds with no answer: one-tap call or text to 988, and 911 for immediate danger

For everyone involved
Built around trust.
For parents
You set it up, sign consent and choose the plan. You see when sessions happen and how long they last, never what was said.
For teens
A private place to talk to a real, licensed counselor, plus a free SOS button and clear links to 988.
For counselors
Licensed in North Carolina? Apply to join, go on duty when you choose, and take calls and scheduled sessions.
Privacy by design
Teens use help they trust.
Teens are more likely to reach out when they know what they say stays private. Parents get peace of mind from knowing a session happened, without reading over a shoulder.
- Parents see the date, time and length of a session only
- Counselors keep private notes that parents and admins cannot see
- If a teen or someone else is in danger, counselors must follow North Carolina's safety and reporting rules

Pricing
A family plan. SOS always free.
Parents will pay a simple monthly family subscription for talking to counselors and scheduling sessions. The SOS button and the 988 / 911 hand-off never sit behind a paywall. Pricing is coming soon.
